Why this site exists

Importing cacao and superfoods from origin into the United States meant living with customs valuation, classification, and entry requirements as operating problems, not abstractions.

Most companies discover how much import structure matters only after CBP asks a question they cannot document an answer to. The 2026 customs enforcement order is about to move that discovery forward for a lot of importers at once.

How we help

Hamburg Logistics matches companies importing into the US with a qualified United States Importer of Record. Where the facts support it, that provider also applies lawful tariff engineering and landed cost optimization, structured before importation, so evolving US tariff rates are met with a documented methodology.

We are not a customs broker. We are not the Importer of Record. We do not provide legal, customs, or valuation advice.

Who is the IOR?

A Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that operates as a legally structured Importer of Record under 19 U.S.C. ยง1484.

The SDVOSB assumes responsibility for entry accuracy, valuation methodology, and duty payment. Entries are filed through licensed United States customs brokers in the Automated Commercial Environment.
